Our
Story

The Rich Little Bunny is the emotional wellness branch of the Neighbourverse — a space created for people who carry more than anyone realizes. It combines grounded, real-world care with the quiet, story-woven warmth that runs through the Neighbourverse.

At the centre is Shesha Love, bringing two decades of professional Personal Support Work experience. With a background spanning mental health, crisis intervention, disability support, and community care, Shesha Love offers informed, grounded, and accessible emotional guidance. Her lifelong role has been the same:
to bring calm, clarity, and compassion to people who feel overwhelmed, unseen, or unheard.

RLB was born from a simple truth:
many people do not need clinical intervention — they need space to exhale, speak freely, and feel emotionally held while they sort through real-life challenges.

Through Vent Sessions, grounding tools, and guided practical support, The Rich Little Bunny offers structured emotional care rooted in lived community experience, intuitive understanding, and professional training.

This branch of the Neighbourverse exists for those who have been strong for too long.
For those who support everyone else.
For those who need a steady presence to help them reconnect with their own voice.

The Rich Little Bunny is where emotional support meets gentleness, clarity, and deep cultural understanding — a place where your story can finally be heard.

Who This Space Is For

The Rich Little Bunny is a soft landing place for anyone carrying more than they can comfortably hold alone.

This space is designed for:

🌱 People who need somewhere safe to exhale

Those navigating emotional overwhelm, burnout, life transitions, spiritual fatigue, or quiet crises that don’t always have words yet.

🤎 Individuals who grew up being the “strong one”

Helpers, carers, firstborns, empaths, and cycle-breakers who are used to supporting everyone else but rarely feel supported in return.

🌈 LGBTQ+ community members seeking affirming care

With over a decade of experience supporting queer and trans clients and chosen families, RLB is intentionally built as a safe, culturally aware, nonjudgmental space.
Your identity is respected, your pronouns matter, and your lived experience is honoured here.

🧠 Neurodivergent minds who need gentler care

AuDHD, ADHD, autistic, highly sensitive, or deep-feeling individuals who benefit from structured reassurance, emotional grounding, and practical tools.

🌿 People rebuilding themselves after hardship

Whether from breakups, grief, family conflict, identity shifts, or spiritual awakening — this is a space for stabilizing your inner foundation.

🌀 Those who feel disconnected, overloaded, or unseen

If you’ve been carrying silent stress, unprocessed emotions, or long-term exhaustion, RLB offers a pause, a companion, and a plan.

✨ Anyone seeking culturally informed emotional support

RLB honours community, heritage, intuition, spirituality, and lived experience — especially for Black, brown, immigrant, mixed-heritage, LGBTQ+, and spiritually rooted individuals who often struggle to find care that understands nuance.

How Sessions Work

Vent Sessions at The Rich Little Bunny are designed to be simple, grounding, and emotionally safe.
There’s no pressure to show up a certain way — you arrive exactly as you are.

Here’s what you can expect:

1. Choose Your Session

You select the time and type of support you need.
Whether it’s a full Vent Session or a shorter grounding check-in, each option is built to meet you where you are emotionally.

2. Set the Tone (Camera On or Off)

Before we begin, you choose your comfort level:

  • camera on

  • camera off

  • audio only

Your emotional safety comes first.

3. Opening Check-In

Every session starts with a gentle grounding moment:

  • How are you arriving today?

  • What feels heavy?

  • What do you want from this space?
    Listening comes first — always.

4. The Heart of the Session

This is where you speak freely, unravel your thoughts, and express whatever you’ve been holding in.

Depending on what you need, we may use:

  • reflective listening

  • emotional unpacking

  • grounding techniques

  • practical next steps

  • tools to help regulate overwhelm

  • journaling prompts or gentle reframing

  • quiet space to breathe and process

You decide the pace.
You decide the depth.
I hold the space.

5. Guided Closing Ritual

We don’t end abruptly.
Every session ends with a soft closing so you don’t leave feeling raw or exposed.

This may include:

  • grounding breathwork

  • a short summary of what came up

  • a practical step to support you after you log off

  • or a stabilizing affirmation selected specifically for you

You leave clearer, calmer, and more supported.

6. Optional Follow-Up Supports

If needed, you can book a:

  • Follow-Up Check-In

  • Grounding Recharge

  • or a structured Vent Session for deeper emotional release

You will never be left without direction.

7. Your Story Stays Here

Confidentiality, respect, and emotional safety are at the core of every RLB session.
There is no judgment, no shame, and no pressure to “perform your struggle.”

This is your space to lay things down.

What The RLB Does Not Replace

The Rich Little Bunny offers emotional grounding, practical support, and a safe space to release what you’ve been holding inside.
However, it is not a substitute for clinical or emergency mental health services.

RLB does not replace:

🩺 Clinical or Medical Mental Health Care

RLB does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medication management, or therapeutic intervention.
If you require a psychiatrist, therapist, or medical professional, please connect with the appropriate provider.

🚨 Crisis or Emergency Support

Vent Sessions are not designed for immediate danger, active crisis, or situations where your safety — or someone else’s — is at risk.
If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or one of the hotline numbers on the Emergency & Outreach page.

🧑‍⚕️ Therapy, Counselling, or Psychotherapy

Although sessions may feel therapeutic, RLB is not therapy.
This space offers emotional processing, grounding, reflection, and practical guidance, but not regulated counselling or psychotherapy.

⚖️ Legal, Financial, or Medical Advice

Sessions can explore stress related to these areas, but cannot replace professional guidance from certified practitioners.

👥 Social Work or Case Management

RLB does not file paperwork, manage cases, or intervene with third parties.
However, we can talk through challenges, clarify situations, and help you feel steadier as you navigate your options.

So What Does RLB Offer?

RLB provides:

  • a safe emotional landing space

  • guided venting and emotional release

  • grounding tools

  • practical coping steps

  • structured support

  • cultural awareness

  • community-informed care

  • and steady, nonjudgmental presence

RLB is here to support your emotional world, not replace your medical team, therapist, social worker, or crisis supports.
